Some snacks just seem to defy understanding. We eat them but we’re not quite sure why. We can’t quite put our finger on what it is that makes us go back for more, time and time again. Fox’s Echo bars are one such snack. Fox’s have historically been associated with cheap biscuits and produce many firm family favourites. Echo bars sit somewhere between a biscuit and a chocolate bar. In an original Echo bar a chocolate biscuit base (not dissimilar to the biscuit one might find in a Bourbon cream) lies under a bubbly white chocolate layer with the whole enveloped in milk chocolate. Echos also come in mint and orange flavours the difference lying in the ... Read the complete review

NEW FLAVOURS I have always enjoyed Fox's Echo bars, but now I have discovered they make them in orange and peppermint flavours too! The chocolate bubbles are simple melt-in-the-mouth and the crunchy biscuit base is a good accompaniment, giving a different texture. CONTENT The content of the biscuit is on the back of the label and states that they contain 45% milk chocolate and 29% white chocolate, and then lists the other ingredients, which I am not going to mention as there are loads of them. The flavouring is not described in detail, but it does add on the label that this contains cows milk, soya and gluten so ... Read the complete review

I remember my first experience with one of these. It was about 5 years ago when i was 9. Dont get me wrong, i was never deprived of chocolate or a treat when i was little and my mum was forever buying me chocolate treats while out at the shops. But never had she bought these, we usually had the same things week in week out, kit kats etc. So one day i was at my friends house we were offered a biscuit, i happily accepted. I was handed a FOX'S ECHO. I had no clue what it was but i thouroughly enjoyed it. I remember enjoying it very much, but up until a couple of weeks ago i hadnt seen a pack of these in my shops. So as i was helping out with the shopping and spotted i ... Read the complete review

Echo bars are produced by Fox's, so you'd expect quality products from a company with such a long history of knowledge, experience and expertise. I'm glad to say these are good quality and very tasty! Echo bars are sold in a multipack of 6 individually wrapped bars and can be found in the biscuit section of most supermarkets and several convenience stores. They're quite popular, though not as well-known as other products within the Fox's or McVities range. The plastic wrapper is dark blue in colour, with lighter blue circles as part of the design to suggest bubbles, complimenting the type of chocolate you'll find inside the bar. A pack of six ... These bars have been around for a good few years now but I remember them when they were 'new'. Since then, they've undergone a complete packaging revamp - the packets are now a black colour with a green leaf/vine type design which is really nice and makes them look different. However, if you were to go by their looks alone it might be a bit misleading as you'd probably assume mint and dark chocolate! The bars are quite small - a small finger, but quite thick - and come in packs of about 8, each individually wrapped. So if you're still left feeling peckish after one...This is quite useful if you're taking one on the go or can't stop once you have an open packet ... Read the complete review
