Advantages: tasty
Disadvantages: good but not the best
I bought a couple of packs of these at Tesco last week and have now nearly finished the pack. They cost 65p for a 200 g pack.
These biscuits are not suitable for those with wheat or dairy allergies as they do contain these ingredients. The packaging also warns they may contain traces of nuts they are suitable for vegetarians.
So let's open my golden pack of biscuits. Each biscuit is really two golden brown round biscuits sandwiched together with a cream filling. The biscuits are crumbly and often I make crumbs as I eat them.
The biscuit tastes buttery and is crisp, to keep them crisp store in an airtight container. I really like the taste of these biscuits but must not eat too many as each biscuit contains 3.8 g fat and 78 cal. They are great to eat with a cup of tea or coffee. (I dont dunk so can not tell you if they are good for this purpose)I usually buy mine at Tesco but these biscuits can be bought at most supermarkets.
Fox' have been making biscuits for many years they are from Batley in Yorkshire. They have certainly got this recipe right
Summary: a buttery biscuit sandwich with a cream filling
