Needing something nice to keep me going through the long weekend at work last weekend, I went completely against any idea of trying to save money and bought the first thing on the shelves in the biscuit aisle that caught my eye. I am a massive fan of anything that resembles a combination of caramel, chocolate and shortcake, so these Millionaire shortcake biscuits leapt straight into my basket. They give off an impression that they are very posh biscuits due to the name, and the packaging teases you with a small snippet of what you might expect to find inside. The picture on the packet shows some nice rippled chocolate with a thick layer of caramel, all sitting ... Read the complete review

My fiancé's Mum bought these Fox's Millionaire's Shortcakes at the same time as she bought the Shortcake Rounds, as they were on special offer at Tesco's. These biscuits are based on the classic Millionaire's Shortbread, which is a fairly thick shortbread base, covered in caramel and chocolate. These shortcakes are basically a much smaller and thinner version. I find the normal Millionaire's Shortbread can be quite sickly as there can be too much caramel and the shortbread base is normally pretty disappointing. These shortcakes are a much more manageable for the mouth in terms of both size and taste. The caramel is quite runny, but not in a bad way, ... Read the complete review

I first heard about these biscuits on Dooyoo, and they sounded lovely, so when I went shopping today I sought them out. I bought them from Asda, they were at the end of the biscuit aisle along with some other new biscuits. They cost £1.37 for a 150g pack. ***Packaging*** The pack is a thin cellophane wrapper with a thin, shaped plastic tray to minimise the chances of the biscuits being squashed. Everything about the packet screams "ordinary", except the photograph of the biscuit. this makes it look like so much more than an ordinary biscuit. ***The Product*** When I opened the pack, I must say I ... We bought these from Tescos today as instead of £1.38 they are currently on offer for just £1 (offer valid until 25th August). I had read reviews on here saying they were quite small but at that price I thought it didn't really matter. The packaging is deep brown with an orange band. There is a picture of the product on the front and the Fox's logo is on the upper left hand corner. I think there were 8 biscuits in the pack and the pack weighs 150g. Upon opening the packet I agree with fellow Dooyooers that they are rather small in size, maybe 4cms long and about 3cms wide. The chocolate at the top has engraved lines and the biscuits are seperated into ... Read the complete review
