Advantages: Chocolatey , indulgent , tasty , good value , moreish , good brand
Disadvantages: Moreish , fattening
Now if you're all sitting comfortably I'm going to tell you a story . Be warned I am going to discuss chocolate and make you're mouth drool so if you're hungry make sure you have food to hand .
OK so here we go .
Last week's quick pop in to Netto resulted in the purchase of two packets of different types of new Fox's Cookies . This review will tempt you with the Extremely Chocolatey Delicious Cookies . These are part of the new indugence range . This review is not for the faint hearted or weak willed .
For once a product not only lived up to it's name but surpassed it .The packet has a papery look to it and is in a rich russet red . Tear this open and you have nine extremely large , filling , naughty cookies sat in a black tray .You get a lovely chocolate and oatey smell and can hear them screaming 'Eat Me' . I really need to get a grip !
The biscuit part of the cookie has a good texture which manages to be crunchy and crispy but melts in your mouth .Cookies is the right description for them , as they are an irregular round shape just like home baked cookies . One side has a thick , rippled , milk chocolate coating whereas on the other side you can see large milk , chocolate chips or chunks sticking out .
Now although these are filling they are very compulsive and I can't see you being able to resist them once open . They should carry a warning 'Only open when there are at least 4 cookie eaters present'

Some facts from the pack :-
A pack weighs 200g .
Costs 79p .
They are made by Fox's biscuits and there's the usual company slogans and contact numbers .
Each cookie has - wait for it - 130 kcal each . That's some calories .
I won't give the nutrition breakdown as it's what you'd expect for such a treat . About 50% is fat .
Amongst the ingredients you'll find 40% is chocolate , another mighty large figure ( Like I will be if I buy and eat these again ).
There are no E numbers but there is oatmeal and coconut hence the oatey smell .
They are made in a factory that uses nuts.
They are suitable for vegetarians .
The warning - The cookies contain Cows Milk , Soya , Wheat and Gluten .
There are storage instructions and a long date on them , but why I don't know as you won't need either .

Recommendation .
Well as you will have sussed I heartily recommend these new Fox's Cookies .They are one of the best biscuits / cookies I have tasted , and I've tasted some over the years .The pack shows a couple of chunks of chocolate and a photo of the cookie , showing it's chocolate side and then the choc chip side . Although they look delicious this in no way prepares you for the experience .
Obviously if you are trying to watch your weight stay as far away as possible from these cookies . The smell alone is so enticing . However if you have a few nibblers visiting , empty a packet of these on a plate . You can't fail to impress . Unless of course you don't want to share them .
Thanks for reading

As the pack says ' It's the layer of milk chocolate and chocolate chunks in our extremely chocolatey delicious cookies , that makes them so truly indulgent'
The other one we tried was the Delicious Sultana Cookies . Hubby doesn't like fruity biscuits so I shared these with some friends . They are also truly delicious cookies and are packed in a similar , but purple , packet .
I think these may be slighltly less compulsive , but don't quote me .
Summary: One of the best chocolate cookies I've tasted
