Foxs Jam Creams

Description: Manufacturer: Foxs / Type: Biscuits

Newest Review: ... top biscuit has a round hole in the middle which is filled with raspberry jam. Yummy. The pack contains only 150 g biscuits. ... more

... So our pack is from Tesco and we bought it for 81 pence. The biscuits ---------------- The biscuits are golden and crispy. There are two biscuits put together into sandwich. The filling has vanilla taste and it is sweet. The top biscuit has a round hole in the middle and is filled with very thick and fruity raspberry jam. The jam is sour a little bit which gives the biscuit a very god taste. The cream and the jam are in harmony and the whole sandwich is very morish. The sandwich looks like a flower because the top...more

I don't know why people bang on about Jammie Dodgers all the time. They are nothing compared to the jam sandwich cream (or jam creams as they now appear to be known). These are the biscuit that you so often find in big selection boxes of biscuits, which I think is actually how I came to discover them in the first place. These days you can also buy them in packs all by themselves. Fox's sell them in packs of 10, and they generally cost around 75p per pack. The biscuits are made up of two round discs of vanilla biscuit, with a blob of custard-cream and raspberry jam sandwiched inside. The top disc has a round hole in it there the jam can be seen poking out, and ...  Read the complete review

When we were in Tesco we bought Fox's Jam Sandwich Creams. I'm really sorry that in our local Sainsbury's is not available. That is my very favourite Fox's biscuit. Price and package ----------------------- Fox's biscuit packages are quite similar to each other, only the biscuit image and the colour of the wrapper changes. Jam Sandwich Creams are wrapped in a dark red wrapper. On the left you can see the Fox's logo and on the right there are three biscuits. You can see that the two round shaped biscuits are put together with a white cream and the top biscuit has a round hole in the middle which is filled with raspberry jam. Yummy. The pack ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Foxs Jam Creams: Jammy and Creamy .......... Jam Creams (310 words)

Does anyone remember (or was it just us?) those big boxes of biscuits that would be pulled out at your nans and everyone would be fighting over the 3!?! jam and cream biscuits. Well i discovered a couple of years ago that fox now does a packet of biscuits which are purely no other than those jam and cream biscuits quite obviously named jam creams. From memory i believe you get approx 10 jam creams per pack but as a tip from me don't take the whole pack through with you and your cuppa because it will be a real fight with temptation to stop you eating the whole pack. Heres the information you didn't want to know per 100g ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fox's Jam Creams: The lovechild of the Jammy Dodger and Cust ... (203 words)

Imagine a Jammy Dodger mixed with a Custard Cream and then you've got some kind of idea of what a Fox's Jam Cream is like. I first discovered them as part of a biscuit variety pack, and after having one, they became my favourite. I then discovered that it was the Jam Creams when I saw them on a packet, when browsing in Morrisons. As they were on a special offer at the time (44p for a packet), I decided to try them. While they are similar to a Jammy Dodger, they are slightly smaller than a Jammy Dodger. The bonus is the cream in the middle of the biscuit, which mixes well with the jam and the biscuit, giving a combination of creaminess from the cream ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Foxs Jam Creams: Jammie Dodgers in a new light... (213 words)

I love Jammie Dodgers, and when we bought a pack of Foxs Jam Creams, I thought they looked quite similar and decided to try them. Foxs Jam Creams are circular in shame with a ridgid edge. The two biscuit layers are a pale shade of beigey brown, and you can clearly see their coating of sugar. In the centre, and peering on the top is a little bit of 'jam'. It reminds me of jelly tots! You cannot yet see it, but when you break open the biscuit, there is also cream inside - but just a thin layer. Although the biscuits do not smell of much, they have a delightful taste. The biscuit is almost malty, and quite crunchy (so can be dunked!). The jam layer is ...  Read the complete review
