I tried Fruit Flakes Raspberry with Yogurt this past weekend and was rather disappointed with them. I expected a healthy, light snack, but it turned out that they were overloaded with sugar and sat very heavy in my stomach after eating them. The flakes themselves aren't real fruit flakes, but rather, raspberry flavored fruit string, and the yogurt isn't just a dip, but a very thick coating. I ended up tasting far more yogurt than fruit, and my teeth began to hurt after several bites. For a serving size of only 25g, there are 112 calories, 5.2 grams of fat and 13.7 grams of sugar. Following on from my last review I thought I'd review the raspberry flavour of the fruit flakes as well since he has had both of them over the last couple of days. These fruit flakes are a little different to the normal flakes that you can find as they are pieces of fruit coated in yogurt. They are similar to yogurt coated banana chips but they are a lot smaller. They come in small 30g bags and cost 35p each although a lot of supermarkets tend to have them on offer every now and again. When I first tried fruit flakes after my friend was ranting about them, I thought they were absolutely delicious! I could not believe I had not tried them before! Since then I have found I have became quite addicted to them too! There are quite a few types to choose from, some with and some without yoghurt. I love the yoghurt ones! One of them is Fruit Flakes: Raspberry and yoghurt. They can be recognised by their red packet- not to be mistaken for the similar looking strawberry or cranberry options.
