... "Crunchie" bar was a Fry's recipe, and not Cadbury's? In terms of packaging. I miss the old style paper wrapper and the silver foil wrapped bar underneath. I found the experience of consumption a surprise as well as a treat as my fingers pressed against the metal foil, to show up the large letters of "Fry" come through the foil, aided by the line across the chocolate top and bottom which enabled me to break off a piece by random. Nowadays, to preserve freshness of the product Cadbury's have stopped ...more

I went to the shops today, hoping that I might find some offers on the limited range of chocolate that I can eat. I have a milk allergy as many of you may know by now, but for new readers I'll just mention that this isn't something I can risk eating. My teenage ...

Hmmmm, I've been on my diet for a week now and decided today that a treat's in order. Not wanting to go too over the top (I really wanted a king size Twix!), I thought I'd go and browse the choc bar shelf and choose something tasty but lower calories than a standard size chocolate bar. After looking at the calories in various Cadbury's bars and deciding against bombarding my body with over a ton of sugar, I spotted a wrapper that I've not seen for a long time..... A peppermint flavour Fry's Chocolate Cream. Ohhhhhh, I wanted to buy 2 soooooo badly but will power kicked in (amazing considering I haven't got any!) and I, saint-like, picked up ...
