From some past reviews you might have gathered that I am a big fan of plain (dark) chocolate and it comes in no better form than a frys chocolate cream. You can spot these quite majestic looking chocolate bars a mile off with their two tone blue wrapper with a picture of the segments of the bar showing their delicious white fondant centre.

I have been a lover of these for the longest time and also used to enjoy the frys five centre bar when I was very young but it has long since disappeared. Other varieties of the bar do still exist with one being peppermint which i hate and the other being orange which I don't mind but tend not to eat very many of preferring to stick with the original.

The original frys chocolate cream is made up from dark chocolate covering a pure white cream fondant, it can be a little sickly but only if you binge, if you stick to a bar a day or less they are very enjoyable. Although they still carry the original frys logo they are now made and distributed by Cadbury but thankfully Cadbury have stuck to the original recipe.

The only way this product could be improved would be for Cadbury to bring back the five centre cream which consisted of orange, lime, pineapple, vanilla and strawberry centres which with the delicious dark chocolate covering were just awesome and very distinctive.

All the remaining bars look very up market compared to most chocolate bars and that can be reflected in their price with the average price of a frys chocolate cream bar being around 55p. They are of course filled with calories and very bad for your teeth as are chocolate treats so enjoy responsibly!
