I first saw this product on the shelves when I was needing to purchase some more Sunflower Oil. I Saw this brightly coloured can with the slogan 'Only 1 cal' on it and was curious. So I picked it up and read. It sounded too good to be true. Nonetheless I bought a can and took it home to try.

The product itself costs around £1.99 which is on par with regular oils in the bottle, however this can lasts a great deal longer and is a great invention!

The spray itself is in a pump style so leaking is avoided. Upon spraying the contents come out like a white cream colour that I was curious about, but upon contact with heat it turns clear. The spray has no unusual taste that I have found.

The claim is that there is 1 calorie per spray, which compared to the bottled sunflower oil varieties which average 124 calories per tablespoon, is a huge difference. I find that I use more than 1 spray, but a maximum of 10 so thats only 10 calories, still way less than one tablespoon of regular bottled oil. Great! It is a great way to cut down the calorie intake, on lets face it a necessary ingredient in one's cooking, but not one that we necessarily taste.

The product should be kept at room temperature and sprayed onto the pan before the heat comes into contact and it can also be sprayed directly onto food!

The product Fry Light also comes in Olive oil variety and Butter, there is also a Fry Light for Woks and a Salad Light.

Overall I recommend you give it a try! It will save you money and calories!
