Advantages: Smooth, creamy, simply gorgeous choc.

Disadvantages: fatty, but isn't all chocolate? lol

Smooth, silky and oh so delicious, Galaxy is by far the sexiest chocolate. With more and more products being brought out by Galaxy, there's more than 1 way to enjoy this delicious choc. With Galaxy Caramel, Dark and Hazelnut varieties. There's Galaxy Cake Bars, Milkshakes, Hot Chocolate and the yummy Galaxy Ripples. Each different product has the same great taste of the Galaxy chocolate, but in different forms, whether it be a drink, or its another chocolate bar with other stuff added into it, like nuts, or caramel or a darker chocolate perhaps. There's something for everyone's tastes.

- Packaging -

Simple paper packet with a gold-ish coloured foil wrapped around the chocolate to keep it fresh. The smooth curled writing of the Galaxy logo is perfect to represent the smooth shape and smooth tasting chocolate. The ingredients and nutritional information are clearly stated on the back and a little bit of information about Galaxy, as to why its shaped like it is. The smooth shape apparently makes for a smoother bite, therefore a more enjoyable chocolate munching experience.

- Price -

Prices vary on which size Galaxy bar you buy, I bought 2 of the 150g bars for £1.50 at my local Asda, which was a good bargain. I think the offer's only on for another week though. When they're not on offer they normally retail at £1.11 for the 150g bar, which to me is still pretty cheap and totally worth it as they taste so good. The bigger plain Galaxy bars of 390g retail at £2.95.
The Galaxy Dark and the Hazelnut retail at around £1.20/£1.25 and are currently on the 2 for £1.50 offer as well.

- Why I love It -

I do love Cadbury's Dairy milk and stuff, but I just think that Galaxy wins every time to be honest. It tastes so much creamier, smoother and just damn delicious. Every bite melts slowly in your mouth, and yeah we all know its not that good for you, but it's good to treat yourself every now and then. Too many people worry about what they eat, it's always good to treat yourself to something you love, and in my case its chocolate.

At £1.11 a bar it may seem a little expensive but I think it's totally worth it with a taste like that. The offer of 2 bars for £1.50 at Asda is great at the moment and I'd recommend people to go get some, maybe try some of the other flavours? I haven't tried the Dark flavour myself as I'm not keen on dark chocolate, but I'm sure the taste is still as smooth as the original chocolate.

With more than just the plain old chocolate for sale now days, there's a lot more to choose from, and something for everyone's tastes. I'd recommend people also try the Galaxy cake bars, they are absolutely gorrrrgeous! Again they aren't very good for you, but is anything nice actually good for you these days?

Thanks for reading!
