When I came across this new offering from Galaxy in my local shop, I simply HAD to give it a go. I believe it came around late March or early April, just around Easter. If you love the original Galaxy bars, then you're positively going to love this! It's like the original, but just a little more varied in taste, as there are cookie chunks lodged in the chocolate!

No, don't slap yourself - you're awake - this isn't a dream. Whoever came up with such a genius, money-making idea for Galaxy should (but will probably not) have recieved a huge bonus, for this is a true cullinary marvel! The cookie chunks really bring the best out in what would anyway be a lovely, smooth chocolate bar.

The cookie parts compliment the chocolate very well, in that they are a little sweeter and a lot crunchier, so you know when you have a bit of the cookie in your mouth. I especially enjoy when the two components meld together in your mouth and form a sort of creamy cookie mix (I really should try melting this thing down and doing something with it!)

Galaxy certainly haven't skimped on this bar - there are loads of cookie chunks, yet they don't overpower the tried and tested taste of the original bar, so you essentially get the very best of both worlds. I believe the bar retails for approximately 55-60p, although not everywhere is selling it yet. I know for sure that One Stop and Superdrug sell it, but I have seen other places, even supermarkets like Tesco and Asda, where it has been a bit of a job to find. Still, if you can track it down, grab a bar, then grab a few more and make sure Galaxy keep this wonderful treat on our shelves!
