I have found something that I'm sure all you chocolate lovers out there will want to get your hands on and try.
It's a Galaxy bar!..... Now before you shout at your computer screens that Galaxy has been around for years, this is a new Galaxy and it is called 'Galaxy Smooth Dark.' In the same style packaging as the milk chocolate bar, the design is the same, the colours are just a little darker; deep browns, the shiny paper surrounding the bar is a dark brown too.
Inside you will find several small blocks of chocolate joined together to form one large bar, this bar I have is 125g, so there are 6 rows of 5 blocks.
The chocolate is a very dark brown, a familiar dark chocolate smell drifts up your nose, as you break a piece off and place it in your mouth. It melts really slowly; the chocolate itself gives out quite a strong chocolate taste. Funny that!! Lol
As it melts you can taste the smoothness you would expect to find with Galaxy chocolate, it is deeply smooth and intensely delicious. Some dark chocolate can be quite bitter, but this is not at all.
If I had a milk chocolate bar here instead I probably would have finished it all off by now, but I can't do that with this dark bar, 2 pieces is plenty for me to feel happy and comfortable to put the rest away for another time, any more in one sitting you would probably find it too sickly.
This is definitely a bar of chocolate I would happily buy to have as a treat after a meal, or if I need a little chocolate pick me up. Although I love the texture and flavour of this I will still buy other milk chocolate bars, as there are so many good ones out there.
