... as I had no intention of buying any chocolate beforehand. A bar cost 60p which certainly isn't cheap but choclate bars in general seem to have greatly increased in price in the last couple of years. Anyway later on, I was having a quick ten minutes on the computer, checking my emails and I realised my girls were playing nicely and the house was relatively peaceful. Perfect timing for a cheeky chocolate indulgence. The bar comes in a long finger shape and is made up of three kind of triangular chunks. Now it wa...more

Premium Review Galaxy Mistletoe Kisses: One of the best Kisses ever (499 words)

The long thin chocolate and cream coloured wrapping which does contain a picture of the contents, is the least indulgent part of this experience. That is not to say that the wrapping is inferior, it is as wrappings go very nice and definitely gives of those Christmas vibes. It is simply the usual high standard Galaxy wrapping. It is however the three fairly large chocolates inside that are of importance here, I mean we are if the wrapping is correct in for a bit of a treat. My outlay of 50p seemed a bit excessive as the three sweets slid nicely out of the long wrapper and into my hand. They are a strange shape and I suppose they do vaguely resemble a kiss, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mistletoe Kisses in time for Christmas! (710 words)

I am a sucker for chocolate. I have to have a bit of chocolate at least once a week, even though I am on a diet, and if I don't I crave it madly. I also love to try out new chocolates when they come out in the shops, so when I saw a big stand of Galaxy Mistletoe Kisses in my local Woolworths, I eagerly grabbed a packet, handed over my cash and took them home to devour. Since then I have bought one...no make that several more packets of these so I thought I may as well write a review! Galaxy Mistletoe Kisses are the latest Christmas themed chocolate to be released this year by the Mars company. I first saw them in the shops in October 2007 and now they are ...  Read the complete review

I had a bit of a chocolate craving earlier so bought a bar of Lindt (see earlier review!) and these Misteltoe Kisses. Misteltoe Kisses are one of my favourites. My other half bought me some of these last year and I immediately assumed I wouldnt like them but I was plesantly suprised. These are available in the confectionary aisle and I got mine from our local Sainsburys. They cost around 50p. The wrapper is easily recognisable as Galaxy as it is a deep brown in colour. The wrapping is made to have a christmas feel with misteltoe and what looks like snow. Inside the wrapper there are 3 chocolates, each about an inch and a half in length. They are sort of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A great big sweet, kiss for you! (424 words)

***MISTLETOE KISSES*** This chocolate treat is made by the well known brand Galaxy who makes extremely creamy and delicious chocolate that simply melts in your mouth. This bar was originally released in 2007 and I have since seen it appear in shops at the festive time of year. The bar itself costs approx 50-60p but I got 2 for £1.00 which were on offer at my local Co-Op. You can probably buy these from other local shops and other good supermarkets as well. The bar itself comes in a brown and white wrapper and looks quite festive with stars and mistletoe which are shown on the front of the bar. It also shows a small picture of what the inside of the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Galaxy Mistletoe Kisses: I'll avoid these kisses over Christmas (440 words)

Christmas must be on the way as Galaxy have launched a now chocolate bar based on Christmas in their new Mistletoe Kisses. Coming in a mainly brown wrapper with a Christmas theme with snow and mistletoe. The bar comes in 3 separate pieces that promises an "indulgent mousse and caramel centre" though to be honest it actually sounds quite sickly. The bar costs a rather premium price of around 50-60p for a 42g bar, though it's likely going to be a short lived bar that will die soon after Christmas. So on to eating it, as with all Galaxy it's manufactured by Mars the chocolate giant, though Galaxy chocolate is regarded a premium style of chocolate. Each ...  Read the complete review
