---GOLDEN VALE CHEESTRINGS--- I love these things. They are gorgeous! Just a bit of nonsense really, but they make cheese eating fun. A novelty take on cheese eating. I love cheese anyway but eating it in this way makes it all the more enjoyable and each individual cheestring makes a tasty, low calorie snack.- ---Cheestrings--- Cheestrings are made with 100% real cheese and they really are a clever concept in getting children to take their daily calcium. Each 21g cheestring is made with one glass of milk containing 27% of calcium, which is a 5-10 year olds daily recommended amount. Also one cheestring is only 69 calories so they are a ... This review is for the twisted variety of cheese strings. They are available in packs of 4, 8, 12 and 16 priced at £1.12, £2.26, £3.28 and £4.24 respectively (Tescos), currently the 8 packs are on buy one get one free in Tesco until 1st September. I have also seen them in smaller shops available on their own for around 50p. The multipacks are made of plastic, being dark purple in colour with cartoon images of cheese strings on. There is a clear part of plastic which allows you to see the product. Inside, each cheese string is wrapped individually in plastic. There is a small tear at the top meaning they are easy to open, especially for children. Each cheese has a ... Read the complete review

I'm in two minds about alot of things lately, one of these 'things' being cheestrings. I've ate so many, took them on daytrips, ate them in packed lunches and even as a quick snack at home - but whats the deal with them? You can find cheestrings in their purple multi packets in the fridges of most supermarkets or they are sold singular in newsagents. The packets they come in are nothing spectacular being mostly purple with pictures of cheese strings with eyes, stringed out at the top to make it look like hair. All Natural Cheestrings it says in the middle, 8x twisted - or you can buy packs of 6. In the corner we are told that each one is made with a glass of ... Read the complete review

Cheestrings. Cheese strings. These are expensive but good for getting something healthy into your child's packed lunch, if they won't take a lump of cheddar! You can get them in packs of 4, 8 or 12. They do original, or white (same but without the colouring), or light (lower fat) or Twister (stripey coloured and white). The ingredients are - cheese. Thats it. With annatto colouring as part of the cheese. Salt content is 0.76g per 100g, which is quite high, but so is all cheese. Each cheestring contains 21g of cheese. The cheese is a type of cheese that pulls apart, stringily. So the children have fun pulling it into shapes as they eat ... Read the complete review

I was looking for some new treatment for my elder son. I found Cheestrings on offer, so I took a pack of 8. I'm glad that this one was on offer not the larger pack. We had to eat all instead of my son. First impression --------------------- The Cheestrings come in a purple package. There is a large Cheestring figure on the left and above his head you can see the Cheestring label written with big purple letters. It has some transparent part of wrapper, so you can see the product. Each string is wrapped separately. I found them among the dairy products where the different types of cheese are. It was 30% cheaper then other times. Its full ... Read the complete review
