Golden Wonders are actually really tasty crisps. The packets don't seem to be full of crisps, especially with the smaller 25g multipack bags, but there are enough for a good snack. The thing I love about them is the flavour is so intense. They have very strong and subtle flavours, which bring such pleasure to your taste buds, which they spring to life! They come in simple and smart packets. They each have a different background colour depending on the flavour. Towards the top of each pack is the Golden Wonder logo. It is in a large and red bold font, surrounded by a splash effect of yellow, with a small outline of white around that to really make them stand ... Read the complete review

I love snacks like most people do and one of my favourite savoury snacks has to crunchy tasty crisps! I am not a brand snob like a lot of people are although we all know Walkers are the best, I don't mins trying other makes when they are on offer and this multi-pack of six was a bargain this week at Morrisons for only 57p - Brilliant! The outer wrapper is a medium blue with the three different flavours down the left hand side in their different colours - it says on the front that each pack contains no more than 131 calories which I would say is about average for a normal bag of fried crisps... The best before on my packs is Nov 09 so ... Read the complete review

I have always been a big fan of potato crisps. I buy them regularly with my weekly shopping. My family are also very partial to a packet of crisps. I was delighted, when out shopping a few months ago, to see that Golden Wonder crisps were back on the supermarket shelves. These have always been my favourites and have been missing from the shelves for some time. Golden Wonder potato crisps were first launched way back in 1947 by a gentleman called William Alexander. In 1962 Golden Wonder produced the very first flavoured crisps. This was their Cheese and onion flavour. As time went on they continued to develop new ... Read the complete review

I didn't realise that Golden Wonder were still making crisps, I just happened to notice a special display in Asda where they were selling 6 packs for 50p, an opportunity too good to pass up. Nutritional Information Per bag Calories 127 Protein 1.2g Carbohydrate 13.2g Fat 7.8g Ingredients: Potatoes, Sunflower Oil (31%), Flavouring. I was quite impressed with these crisps, I remember Golden Wonder being one of the big players in potato snacks a few decades ago, before Walkers took over the whole stage. The bags are 25g, and they are not oversized either. They do have a fair amount of space in them, ... Read the complete review

Later in this review you will see my very simple, but tasty crisp recipe, involving Golden Wonder crisps. I love crisps. I seriously could live on these for the rest of my life. OK a health professional might have something to say about that. Now lets get back to Golden Wonder. I haven't seen these in years. I have missed them so badly. I have had to put up with supermarkets' inferior, although cheaper, own brands, and to get my fix of 'quality' Cheese and Onion I have had to go with Walkers cheese and onion in BLUE packets. BLUE, BLUE what is that all about. Everyone knows that the green packet means cheese and onion and the blue packet is for Salt and ... Read the complete review
