Advantages: Tasty and golden crisps :)

Disadvantages: High in fat :(

I love snacks like most people do and one of my favourite savoury snacks has to crunchy tasty crisps!

I am not a brand snob like a lot of people are although we all know Walkers are the best, I don't mins trying other makes when they are on offer and this multi-pack of six was a bargain this week at Morrisons for only 57p - Brilliant!

The outer wrapper is a medium blue with the three different flavours down the left hand side in their different colours - it says on the front that each pack contains no more than 131 calories which I would say is about average for a normal bag of fried crisps...

The best before on my packs is Nov 09 so that's not a lot of time although we do tend to eat snacks quickly once they are in and not usually one bag at a time either ;)

'Golden Wonder' say on the back write up that they have 60 years of expertise in making the best crisps, and that only the finest potatoes are taken and turned into lightly peeled slivers of potatoes and then fried in sunflower oil, therefore are suitable for vegetarians.

Allergy advice includes milk gluten and soya and that this product should be stored in a cool dry place.

Cheese and Onion comes in a green bag and has 129 calories in its 25g bag plus 7.9g fat which is high for such a light snack.
There is 0.5g of salt which you can really taste and the seasoning is really strong and natural in flavour. The crisps are golden brown and very thinly cut and fried but very tasty and not greasy at all really.

Salt & Vinegar (blue bag) contain 127 calories with 7.8g of fat and 1g of salt which you would expect. There is 31% of sunflower oil in all these snacks but they are still light and crispy, with a lovely aftertaste of malty vinegar. These are very natural in flavour too and really moreish :)

Ready Salted come in a medium blue bag and contain 8.1g fat and 0.5g of salt but it still tastes strong against the plainness of the crisp. These are my favourite flavour when I really fancy them but for some reason I notice the 31% vegetable oil more on these?

I really enjoyed every flavour but although they are good quality and a great price they don't beat the mighty Walkers brand.

Four stars from me as I think that is a fair award for this brand, I like them - they smell good when you open the packets and they all taste nice and fresh :)

Summary: Very nice! :)

I saw that offer in Morrisons and wanted to get them for my daughter but she turned her nose up at them - she prefers McCoys! Thank goodness I can get 9 packs of them in Poundland - LOL!

I'm hard pushed to tell the difference - tastewise, between Walkers and Golden Wonder. Doesn't say much for my taste-buds perhaps. Great review.:-)
