... by any other crisp, they are so intensely baconey it's unreal. The texture of the crisps is far from smooth with each crunchy being rough to the touch, this makes for an interesting combination of texture, crunch and flavour that make these snacks both irresistable and unique. The pack is a maroon red with a picture of the product and 'Wheat Crunchies written in large white print, each bag weighs in at 25g which is on the more generous side than some other crisps. What's in a name??? Well in this case everything you need to know about these absolutely delicious snacks. Wheat Crunchies are made by Golden Wonder, one of the last companies to resist the ever advancing Walkers machine. The crisps are wheat based (derrr), and are absolutely crunchy, they are tubular in shape and are a deep goldeny brown colour. Each crisp is about an inch long and half an inch around. The amount of flavour in these things is in my opinion unrivalled by any other crisp, they are so intensely baconey it's unreal. These are the best bacon crisps ever, like you'd expect from the name of them they aren't normal potato crisps but are made from wheat. They are tube shaped and proper crunchy, I think these are deffo one of the crunchiest crisps I've eaten and a bag of these seems to last for ages longer than a bag of Walkers or other thin crisps. It's the flavour of these crisps that makes them so good because they are just soooooo baconey and yummy! They aren't madly salty like Walkers Smoky Bacon crisps but do taste like a strong smoked bacon, I think the taste is a bit like a cross between proper bacon and Frazzles only a lot stronger. These are ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to snacks I don't half eat alot of em! In fact at 34 years of age and moving back home to live with parents for the time being my diet is the single most thing I get moaned at about. I very rarely eat meals, live on toast and basically am constantly grazing on what my Mother refers to as 'goodies'. I guess unless I go out for dinner or whatever I'm just not really a meal person lol I have a crisp addiction. I can easily eat 6 packets of crisps a day if Id' let myself (yesterday I let myself lol) and so I'm always looking for new alternatives crisp wise, I mean I don't want to get bored after-all lol Luckily I am 5.10 and weigh just under 9 stone ...  Read the complete review
