Put me in a supermarket and I will generally go for foods that are on offer. Couple that with a healthier option and you can pretty much guarantee it'll end up in my trolley. I was wandering round Morrison's yesterday and the crisps of the week that seem to be on offer were Golden Wonder Golden Lights. They were offering 15 packs instead of 10 for the not so bargain but average price of £1.29. In my trolley they went as another reason I will buy these are in the hope that no one in the house likes them and I could eat them all myself. So far so good Ang as no-one else has touched a pack. The multipack contains three flavours which are sea salt, sour ... Read the complete review

We have lot of healthy eating or diet foods in our house as 'someone' is on a diet (not me, ha!) so that person has to buy lower fat options for snack foods which I'm not supposed to touch... Well late one night when I'd ran out of 'normal' crisps I dipped into that someone's snack stash and helped myself to a couple of packets, lol! The rule is that NO-ONE is allowed to eat Salt &Vinegar flavour anything so of course I started with this type first! 'Golden Lights' made by Golden Wonder are advertised as only having 93 or 94 calories a pack in their potato snack crisp style discs. The makers say there is only 4g of fat per ... Yesterday I bought a multi pack of Golden Wonder Golden Lights for the first time. I paid £1.09 for 6 x 21g bags at my local Sainsbury's. The multi pack contained 2 of each flavour; sea salt, sour cream and onion and salt and vinegar. I have tried all three flavours. These potato snacks are Golden Wonder's answer to a lower calorie potato snack. Firstly, I have to say I wasn't really very drawn to the packaging, I was more drawn to the price which seemed pretty reasonable. I am always on the lookout for lower calorie snack options so I thought I'd give them a go. I'm not sure why, but the packaging just doesn't seem to work for me. Everything from ... Someone suggested I try Golden Lights crisps, made by Golden Wonder, after I mentioned I was missing the crunch of crisps now I am back to my diet after Christmas. I've heard of them before but hadn't taken much notice as low fat crisps tend to be dry and tasteless in my experience. I hesitatingly bought a six pack of Golden Lights which included two bags of each Sour Cream & Onion, Sea Salt and Salt & Vinegar. I've now tried them all so can tell you all about them. All of the flavours have the same texture which is harder than 'normal' crisps, if you remember Discos they are just like that in texture. They're not bubbly at all and have ... I am back on my healthy eating again. Being on it one day and off the next surely wasn't doing me any favours and i'm sure all who know me on this site will know I love my crisps. Even healthy eating I still have to fit my crisps in somehow and these crisps are pretty good for you, as far as crisps go. These are made by Golden Wonder and come in a 10 bag multipack. You can sometimes buy these in individual bags, but have found only a few shops sell these this way. I would say an individual bag would cost the standard about 40p, but a 10 pack from Asda today cost me £1.59. I think that price is ok, as usually for low fat, low cal things the price goes up.
