Nik Naks started their life as a product of a South African company called Simba Snacks. Now it is Golden Wonders task to churn out these Maize based knobbly crisps. They come in a variety of interesting and (for the most part) delicious flavours. As far as im aware there are currently 4 flavours available, those being - Nice 'n' spicy - Rib 'n' saucy -Pickle 'n' onion -Scampi 'n' lemon Scampi 'n' lemon was discontinued (i assume because of their pungeant flavour and rather dubious odour) only to be brought back by popular demand. They know replace the 'hard cheese' flavour in multipacks. Of the 4 available flavours, ... Read the complete review

I can't remember when I first became aware of Nik Naks. My childhood was filled with the standard Walkers Crisps, those dull Smith's one with the salt in the blue packet &, occasionally Monster Munch. As I grew older & had more control over what I ate, I of course started to broaden my horizon on the crisp front trying most of the main brands on the market. Nik Naks describe themselves as "knobbly, freaky, sticks of corn" & are a bit different to other crisps on the market. I suppose, in appearance, they look a little like deformed chip sticks. Texture wise however, they're less "fluffy" & more crunchy. This review focuses ... Read the complete review

I don't really buy crisps on a regular basis, due to the fact that I can't trust myself with them! - however, when I do, KP's 'Nik Naks' are often first on the list. I was actually quite a latecomer to Nik Naks, and I don't really remember eating them much during my schooldays as I was probably too busy naively munching on 'Skips'. Made with a blend of sunflower and vegetable oil, each Nik Nak is a knobbly corn-based snack, available in five different flavours - 'Nice n' Spicy', 'Pickle n' Onion', 'Scampi n' Lemon', and my current favourite, 'Rib 'n' Saucy'. From Tesco, the (10x25g) multi-pack retails at £1.85 which is in line with other big-brand ... Read the complete review

Although I would have to call myself a really chocolate lover I also sometimes have a real craving for a savoury snack. I always like to keep some crisps or other such thing in my cupboard for when the snack bug hits me. Last week in Tesco I was staring at the shelves wondering what to treat myself to when the bright orange multipcak of NikNaks seemed to jump out at me. It was on a BOGOF offer with Skips so I bought a bag of each and merrily went on my way. I hadn't eaten NikNaks for years and when I got them home I did start to wonder why I hadn't just stuck to the Walkers baked crisps that I usually prefer. The multipack bag contained : 3 x Pickle ...
