Crowned Review Goodfellas Deep Pan Pizza: Better Than The Real Thing! (870 words)

~ ~ A mid-week night fairly recently, and in the absence of my 'better half' the making of the dinner and feeding the wee lass and myself is down to yours truly. I'm not that bad a cook, and can manage most of the staples OK. Mince and tatties and stir-fries are a speciality of the house, but on this particular evening nothing was prepared, so we dropped into the local supermarket on the way home to pick up something quick and easy. Before I even had an opportunity to get a word in edgeways, (bossy women in the mad cabbie household, bah!!) the wee lass is over at the frozen foods section, and a large pizza has been deposited in the trolley. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Very Good for Goodfella's (576 words)

Being fond of Pizza I have already reviewed a few on Dooyoo with mixed feelings towards them. I have had good and bad experiences with them on the whole but always try different varieties to find ones that represent good value for money as well as providing a tasty meal. When I saw Goodfella's Deeply Delicious pizza on offer at Morrison's recently (buy one get two free) I decided to give these a try as the offer was just too good to miss. Available with different toppings this review is going to be based on the Pepperoni variety. Contained in a flat square box in a deep red colour a picture of the cooked pizza is displayed on the top. You are ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Goodfellas Deep Pan Pizza: Yummy deep pan pizza. (383 words)

I am not really a big lover of pizza but if I do buy pizza I like to buy it from a renowned manufacturer rather than the shops own brand. Over the years I have tried many shops own brand pizza and the majority of them are really bad. If I'm honest I don't think any pizza you buy from the shop will even come close to the delicious pizza's you get from places like pizza hut. I bought Goodfellas Deep Pan Pizza last week when I saw it on offer in Morrisons. The offer was simply too good to resist, buy one pizza and get two free. It's great when shops have offers like that on, I thought even if the pizza was bad we good still give the free ones away and still ...  Read the complete review

I have a shocking confession to make: I don't much care for Itallian food in general and in particular I have a bit of a life-long aversion to pizza. Despite not really liking it, I do buy frozen / chilled pizza from the supermarket on occasion as it's a cheap convenience food which the sprog will eat when all else fails. I usually opt for whatever variety is selling on special offer as whether you pay a quid for it, or four times as much, it's all one to me really. Last week Tesco were selling a frozen deep-pan 'Goodfellas' pizza for a quid - which is half price - so that's what we had that day for lunch. You could get a four-cheese variety, or ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Goodfellas Deep Pan Pizza: Deeply Delicious (412 words)

Goodfella's Deep Pan pizzas are absolutely delicious and come in a variety of flavours so you are bound to find one to your liking! You buy them in the frozen sections of supermarkets such as Tesco and they will cost around £2.38, which isn't that cheap, but not bad for a good quality and tasty pizza. They come in a range of flavour - here's a taster: - Ham & Pineapple - Meat Feast - Chicken - Pepperoni - Loaded Cheese You cook them from frozen and they do actually take quite a while. They take around 20 minutes on 180° in a fan-assisted oven. This is longer than some other, thinner pizzas but the wait is well worth ...  Read the complete review
