 ... been a hit, so I shouldn't have had any doubts when it came to these. They are fairtrade too which is a bonus as you know everyone is getting a fair deal. They are approved by the vegetarian society and the cardboard packaging is recyclable. They are well priced at £1.89 for 4 good sized cutlets. The pack has a cut out heart shaped section so you can see the product inside the box which is good. Each cutlet is round, just like a burger. Yesterday we had a barbeque, so I set off the the supermarket in search of something for mum and I (both vegetarian.) To be honest, I had my mind set on buying a pack of Goodlife Spicy Bean Burgers, a favourite of mine.....but at ten to four on a Sunday afternoon they had all sold out on a buy one get one free! So, a bit reluctantly I settled for the nut cutlets. I don't have anything against nuts, infact I really like them. I think I've had a few bad experiences with nut loaf and nut roast as a Christmas day turkey substitute, and that's put me off. Well summer is coming and for veggies like me outdoor eating can't be all about meaty treats, so I look for alternatives which are animal friendly and tasty too. One of my favourites "Goodlife Nut Cutlets" have been on my shopping list for years, but they have just got a whole lot better, the package has been redesigned, the ingredients are fair trade, and the taste of these delicious burgers is really good. Goodlife are based in Cheshire and they make a range of good vegetarian products, mostly for the freezer, and are quite widely available in supermarkets and whole food stores.
