Advantages: Makes pasta better

Disadvantages: Expensice in UK

Gouda cheese in produced in big flat shere shaped cheese and cut to different shapes. I actually went to Gouda once and saw the huge pieces of cheese.

I think that Gouda cheese is very tasteful and soft. That's what I like about it. It's not a cheese that imposes its taste to you, but it lets you taste it.

As it's a soft cheese, it can easely be cut and used in sandwitches and other eating things.

It's of light yellow colour, and it smells really good. I have tried mature cheddar cheese and I think that Gouda cheese is a million times better. If you have gouda with pasta, the pasta actually tastes better rather than worst when I used cheddar.

The only problem is the price of course. Gouda is still expensive in UK. It's about £2 for 200g, which is a lot. In Belgium I can buy 500g for £2. So what I usually do is bring back some Gouda from home so I can have some in UK!
