Today I was lucky enough (or unlucky enough perhaps, as I'm on a diet!) to receive a little pack of chocolate bars as a gift from a colleague. I tried hard to resist them but I've scoffed two of them already, including this Butterscotch flavoured one. A bit of quick research told me that Green and Black's chocolate was the first Fair ... I have tried numerous types of chocolate and this is probably one of the best around. You can really taste and smell the cocoa which makes the experience that much better. Unlike the more commercial chocolates like Dairy Milk and Galaxy where all you can taste is the sugar this actually tastes like it was made from real cocoa beans. It has a ... My favourite Green and Blacks bar. The chocolate is so creamy and then there are the lovely sweet and crunchy chunks of butterscotch mixed in with it. I would advise to refrigerate this - it lasts longer that way as you need to suck it. One bar would last me a week as it is so rich. Also very yummy crushed and sprinkled over a good quality vanilla ... Read the complete review

My boyfriend was given a box of assorted mini bars of Green & Black's for his birthday. So naturally I had to help him out on his quest to find the best flavour! Well, it just so happens that this one came a close second after the plain dark bar. The chocolate itself is rich and creamy, melts in the mouth and made me feel instantly better! ... Having just been to Tesco this morning, I decided to treat myself to a lovely big bar of Green and Black's Butterscotch Milk Chocolate. I have bought the 100g bar (this is the biggest size available) and it is currently on a special offer at two bars for £3.00 (I also bought the Green and Black's Dark Chocolate with Mint - I have not ... Having shared a bar of this after the Christmas period, I enjoyed it without being wowed. It's a very pleasant premium chocolate bar with good quality smooth chocolate and the list of ingredients certainly support their marketing of the product as a luxury item. As mentioned by other reviewers, the butterscotch pieces are ... Read the complete review

I am a real chocolate picker, any little bits left in the house i can smell it from a mile away. Having said that my taste was very wide from the run of the mill Cabdurys and Nestle to using the basic, value no-frills brand that you find in all the changes of supermarkets for baking cookies and muffin. I never paid any attention to those more ... Read the complete review

I have long thought of 'Green and Black's' chocolate as a sort of high class, more morally sound alternative to the giants of the confectionary market, Cadbury and Nestle. The chocolate is often sold in health food shops and farm shops and most often snuggled amongst the small 'organics' collection at my local ... Read the complete review

As I have said in previous reviews, I am not really much of a chocolate fan, preferring savoury snacks such as crisps. However, I was in my local petrol station and I noticed that they had Green and Blacks Organic Butterscotch Chocolate on special offer, so I decided to treat myself to a bar. About Green & Blacks The name Green ... Read the complete review

A lot of people will say that chocolate is just chocolate and why would you pay more for a name, or because it is organic, etc, and I have to say that up until recently I was one of these people. However, after many times of nagging by my darling wife, I have finally succumbed to the hype of Green & Black's organic chocolate and tried some fo ... Read the complete review

==Green and Black's== Green and Black's started in 1991 with dark chocolate 70% cocoa made with organic cocoa beans. In 1994 they added the Maya Gold bar to the collection and agreed to pay farmers a fair price for their cocoa, earning Green and Black's the first fairtrade mark in the UK. They produce ethically sourced and organic chocolate ... Read the complete review
