Hmm, indulgence, that word, the one that hints at decadence, innecessity and plain old wanton waste. Ahh yes, we do not need indulgent things, but they are nice, they add a bit of difference to your life and just that little bit of luxury. This Hot Chocolate drink is definently indulgent; it costs nearly £4 a jar (although the jar will make about 50 mugs worth of this drink). I tried some Green & Black's Organic Hot Chocolate recently as it was on offer in our local corner store while I was in there for something else. Usually we're Cadbury fans but because I really like their chocolate and their ice cream I thought this would be worth a go. Normally this is sold for £2.65 per 300gm pot in our local shop (would probably be cheaper in supermarkets) but I got 2 for £3.50 in the offer which I thought was too good to pass up on. As with any hot chocolate, you can make this by mixing a spoon of the powder with either hot water or hot milk. I make it with hot water and top it up with milk as the Mrs insists ...

I am a HUGE chocoholic so I know my stuff here. Usually I find most Hot Chocolates not up to much, even brands like Cadburys which you would expect to be really good considering their chocolate bars are so nice. But no, if your gonna buy hot chocolate buy this one. I only got it because I had tried everything else and thought why not. I figured it wouldn't be up to much because organic chocolate isn't usually very nice, oh I was wrong. I was much impressed. You can actually taste the chocolate which is absolutely bang on.
