I love corn on the cob, I really do think it tastes great. I often put a cobette (half a cob) in the oven with some oil and seasoning on just to have as a healthy snack. The only problem with vegetables in my house is that we don't plan our meals well enough and they often go off, so when I saw frozen corn on the cobs in the supermarket I though this could be the answer to solve all the food wastage. The frozen corn on the cobs are reasonably priced and come in a pack of four. I adore sweetcorn of all varieties, but my absolute favourite way to eat it is still on the cob. Therein lies the problem for me. Most supermarkets seem to sell corn on the cob in packs of two, which means I often waste a full one as they have a rather short shelf life. Add this to the fact that fresh sweetcorn is very expensive now and I honestly do dread to think how much money I am wasting simply because I can't eat both corn cobs before they start going off.
