I do love scones but they are a bread item which does not keep well so if you buy a packet from the shops or baker you need to eat them within a day or they go stale. The other alternative is to make your own scones, I'm sure that making them from scratch is easy but I like to keep a packet of Greens English Scones mix in my cupboard. The little packet of scone mix costs about 70p from supermarkets so will hardly break the bank.
