Having read a few reviews on Dooyoo about GU products and seeing they were getting fabulous things said about them I recently picked up a couple of boxes from Tesco to try them. Currently on offer on Buy one Get one Free and priced at £1.99 I thought they represented fairly average value for money but wasn't overly impressed thinking that 3 x 50ml pots wouldn't provide that much value when compared to other deserts. Oh how I was wrong. These little pots of "Double chocolate ganache - made with 53% cocoa chocolate" are simply divine. Served in a black pot with a foil lid these have to be the richest tastiest desert I can ever remember eating. Once ... Read the complete review

Dsepite being a big fan of the Gu chocolate souffle I have somehow never managed to try any of their other desserts. So when we were in Tesco last night and these were yellow stickered we snapped up a box. Usually priced at £1.99 the pack contains 3 little (and I mean shot size!) pots. At 66p each I don't think this is terrible value given Gu tend to have very high quality products, however we got them for 50p for all 3 which I think is even better! Each little bot is about 5cm deep, and is black with a black foil lid with pale blue scroll work on it and the 'Gu' brand name. The packaging is basic but classy. These little pots are not a chocolate ... Read the complete review

My partner often refers to me as being GÜ obsessed, well I am I love their chocolate desserts and this fairly new addition to their range is no exception. These little pots of heaven will solve anyone's chocolate craving but some may find it hard to stop at one. These mini puds are not 'pudding' in the sense most of us would interpret but rather they are a pot of chocolate ganache which has been made with 53% cocoa chocolate. Ganache is normally made by heating double or whipping cream, then pouring it over chopped dark chocolate. The mixture is stirred or blended until smooth. It is used as a filling in high quality chocolates. I've made this stuff many times ... Read the complete review

Gu's pots au chocolat are little puds of double chocolate ganache. These little pots are very fulfilling and you can't just stop eating at one. They have 200+ calories so you will have to watch out when eating these. I bought this pack which was on offer- two for £3.50- that is a total of 6 puds. But you can't count your pennies when you want to indulge in something like this. You will not want to taste any other brand especially not any cheap supermarket's own brand after this- this is probably its disadvantage. It has a very creamy texture and is very soft. I first got to know about this when I watched 'working lunch' program on bbc 2. The manufacturer/manager was ... Read the complete review
