Today is the day of enlightenment! I've made my first foray into the naughty world of GU and I may be here a while! It was actually my husband who suggested we purchase these today whlst doing our weekly shop in Tesco. They were on offer, £1.99 instead of the usual £2.99. I'd noticed them on the shelves before with the classy black packaging, coloured band and bold, white logo, difficult to miss amongst the usual blur of Cadbury's purple on the shelf that stocks this kind of mini, cakey, yummy 'bites.' Described on the tub as choccy, chewy, caramel nibbles; I couldn't wait to get home and crack these GU Naughties Millionaires Flapjacks open with ... Read the complete review

Whilst shopping in Sainsburys, I noticed that they still have the Gu naughties range on offer, so having previously enjoyed (and reviewed) the rocky road bites I thought I would give another tub a try! The new Gu naughties range includes millionaire's flapjacks (reviewed here), chocolate rolls and rocky road, all little bite-sized cakes. The naughties come packaged in a black tub bearing the Gu logo, and a tempting picture of the cakes on the front. The tub contains 16 bites, each are around an inch square and fairly chunky- ... Read the complete review

Review of GU Naughties Millionaire's Flapjack ~~The Product~~ What is it? A black plastic, circular pot containing 16 pieces of chocolate coated caramel flapjack. ~~Packaging~~ A classy looking black plastic bucket type container with a photograph of three pieces of the flapjack. Nutritional values, allergy advice and ingredients are listed on the side of the container. The container is sealed with a peel away plastic strip around the lid and then the actual product is sealed for freshness with foil inner lid. My one criticism about the packaging is that I can see no mention of whether it is recyclable on the ... Read the complete review

Millionaires Flapjack - the GUcci of choc delights! I don't usually buy expensive cakes as I'm not a bad cake maker, if I don't say so myself! However, after a busy week at work and a family picnic planned I was drawn to this little treat by the combination of buttery, oaty flapjack, smothered in rich caramel and topped with chocolate. I had read about GU products and their reputation for quality, but I've never actually bought anything GU because they are quite expensive products. ~GU who?~ James Averdieck is Gü's MD and is known as the Gü-meister,! Apparently he and his team are passionate about puddings and chocolate. They have created a ... Read the complete review
