Advantages: Lovely taste, creamy
Disadvantages: Don't eat too many
...Introduction...
I was in the new Nisa/post office in town and decided to have a look at the chocolates on offer. After a few seconds I spotted these Guylian Twists and as I had never tried these before I thought I would try them as I have liked other Guylian Chocolate products in the past especially the Praline shells.
The boxes are available in a number of different sizes, these boxes are Available in three different sizes 43g 99p), 200g £2.89 and 500g £6.49 You will be able to find them in most supermarkets and some of the bigger newsagents chains.
...The Packaging...
As you can see from the picture these come in a tall box with the various chocolates that it contains. I quite like the packaging as it stands out from the rest of the boxes of chocolate as it has a very different look to it. Another good thing about this box is that it has a window which you can see the chocolates through.
...The Range...
Smooth Truffle 8.5/10
This is a particularly lovely chocolate with a smooth chocolate cream, this really melts in the mouth and has a lovely texture. One of the nicest of these chocolates.
Mild Cappuccino 7/10
I am not a coffee fan but I do quite like coffee flavoured chocolates and this is a particularly nice one. The taste is Not to strong but gives a real Cappuccino feel.
Crispy Caramel 9/10
I am a big fan of chocolates with Caramel and This one is one of my favourites. The caramel melts in your mouth and the combination with the Belgian Milk Chocolate is irresistible.
Original Hazelnut Praline 8.5/10
This Chocolate is like the Guylian Praline bar which I am a fan of. The combination of Nut and Chocolate is a popular one but not so much with Hazelnut Praline. It works really well.
Fresh Orange Cream 8/10
Most boxes of chocolates will have an orange variety and Guylian Twists version is one of the nicest I have tasted. This is a really nice version of the well used Orange Cream.
Creamy Strawberry variants. 9/10
And finally we have another variant and this time It's strawberry. The Guylian twist has a combination of Strawberry and White Chocolate which is so lovely. The nicest strawberry chocolate I think I have ever had.
