For my husbands birthday recently, I decided to prepare a romantic meal at home. Having young children makes it difficult to go out for the night, so this seemed the perfect compromise. With the main course simmering away gently and my meringue mixture cooking in the oven in preparation of my passionfruit pavlova, I poured myself a glass of wine and took it through to the living room. The kids were tucked up in bed and hubby was on his way home from work, so seemed like the perfect time to put my feet up. Somehow I got caught up in the action of Eastenders and forgot all about my pavlova. I could smell a sickly, sweet burning smell so jumped up and ran ... Read the complete review

Yummy Yummy to the Tummy!!! Haagen Dazs Baileys ice cream must be the food of the Gods. I've tried Ambrosia, and it can't really be that!!! Creamy, smooth, delicious, tastes exactly like Baileys. Many a good diet falls to the wayside upon one glimpse of a family sized tub of Haagen Dazs Baileys. I've never come across such a naughty but nice goody! I'm a so called grown up with a mental age of ,I'll be generous to myself, say 10! I've always drooled over ice cream. The inner child always beats the dull old sensible head. But's it's hard to give up something so goooood. I like most of the ... Read the complete review

Haagen Dazs do a gorgeous Baileys flavour ice cream which you really should try if you haven't already! I've not had any in ages and when we had a glass of Baileys liqueur the other day at a party, it got me thinking that we should really track some of this down for one of our date nights. I've checked online and found that supermarkets stock it for £3.99 per 500ml tub, including Sainsburys, so that'll definitely be going in the with the shopping this week. When you first get this out of the freezer you'll find it's rock solid so you need to leave it out to thaw for about half an hour before serving. When you do serve it up, I recommend just ... When I first tasted this ice cream I thought that ice cream could never get any better but I was wrong, it can! I had one of those little pots of Bailey's Haagen Daz which only serves to get you hooked and make you crave more, so I had to go back to the supermarket and get more. I came out with a regular sized 500 mil tub. The pale coffee coloured ice cream just sat there aski g to be bought. I swear that I could smell it through the tub. All the way home my mouth was watering so you can guess what I did as soon as I got inside the door. I suddenly had a thought, and that is when this ice cream started to get even better. Why not dribble a touch of ... Read the complete review

I'm no longer a huge fan of Haagen-Dazs since I discovered Ben & Jerry's. I like my ice cream packed with chunks of flavour, where haagen daz seem to have dinty little pieces. Anyway as a complete Baileys addict, I just had to try this ice cream, and as I couldn't even imagine a Baileys ice cream with any kind of chunks I figured I couldn't be too disappointed. Well I was not disappointed in the slightest, it's a pale coffee coloured ice cream which just simply melts in your mouth. It's soooo smooth and creamy they have really captured the essence of Baileys. You can get this ice cream in both the little piddley tubs, (I'm not ... Read the complete review
