Karenuk is a bad influence. As if it wasn?t bad enough that I was already addicted to Ben and Jerry?s ice cream, she introduced me to Haagen-Dazs and I now find myself buying tubs of this highly calorific and pricey frozen dessert! One of the first flavours she enticed me with was Banoffee Banana Caramel Pie. Goodness, even the name of it is enough to get me salivating. PACKAGING The background colour to the tub is burgundy and gold, which looks extremely elegant and promises a refined and exquisite dessert inside. I?m not normally an ice cream eater and can take it or leave it, but every now and again whilst walking around the supermarket I get craving for some and have to buy it immediately. This happened the other day and I chose Haagen - Dazs Banoffee Banana Caramel Pie, partly because I liked the sound of it and partly because I am stingy and this was on offer in Safeway for £1.99 for a 500ml tub.
