A short time ago when husband and I were holidaying in Gran Canaria (you have probably noticed that we like the Canary Isles) we found a very popular little cafe. Husband picked an ice cream concoction from the pictures that were on display – it looked wonderful – a dish of chocolate and lemon cheesecake ice cream, chocolate mousse, whipped cream, wafers etc. topped with hot chocolate fudge sauce. I don’t know if you have noticed, but when abroad, ice cream is often served with sparklers. This dream creation arrived fully lit with a couple of sparklers throwing out sparks everywhere.
