Haägen-Dazs ice cream is up there with the best (with the same hefty price of £3,86 per 500ml tub), but even though it is expensive I simply love the taste and buy it as an occasional treat. Haägen-Dazs is currently on special at Tesco so I treated myself to two tubs - any excuse is a good excuse! One of the best flavours in the Haägen-Dazs range is Pralines & Cream, which is a flavour that is unique to Haägen-Dazs. It is a very sweet vanilla-based ice cream as it contains caramel swirls and caramelised pecan nuts. The delightful pecan nuts make this ice cream truly special in my eyes. Even though the ice cream is quite creamy it still ... Read the complete review

Haagen Dazs was one of the original 'luxury' ice cream brands available in the UK, it usually retails at around £3.99 for a 500ml tub. However, I nearly died with excitement last week when I went into my local Asda on one of the hottest days of the year to find that they had reduced the entire range to £2 a tub! I immediately stocked up on some of my favourites for the freezer. I have seen them on offers like '2 for £5' before now but never so reduced in price per single unit as this - it was obviously some kind of omen that I need this ice cream in my life? So, I bought the Pralines and Cream as I have tried it before and know it to be one of the ... Read the complete review

As part of a two for £5 deal at Sainsburys we bought a pot of Haagen Dazs Pralines & Cream ice cream with our shopping last week. It normally retails for £3.99 per 500ml tub but is especially good value when you're able to get it on offer at this sort of price. Before you do anything else you need to sit this out on the side for about half an hour to let it thaw so you can get your spoon in. This stuff is really thick and you wouldn't want to try to eat it before it's had chance to melt slightly. The texture of this ice cream is every bit as brilliant as any of the Haagen Dazs ice creams with the added bonus of creamy caramel ... Read the complete review

Well, now that I've figured out that what Haagen-Dazs calls "Praline & Cream" in the UK is what they call "Crème Caramel Pecan" in the US, I can finally write this op! We all know that Haagen-Dazs makes some of the finest ice creams on the market today, and are now produced and sold all over the world. They can, therefore, charge a bit more (if not a lot more) for their products than the local brands such as Walls, ASDA or even Cadbury ice creams. But the question is, are these ice creams worth the extra pence? Here's what I have to say about this. First of all, I should tell you that I'm not reviewing one of the chocolate ...
