Haagen Dazs Strawberry

Haagen Dazs is in my opinion one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted, partly because it is exactly that- iced cream. Unlike most ice cream products you can buy in supermarkets which have mainly vegetable oil in them (that's non-milk fat by the way) or 'reconstituted dried skimmed milk powder' (ugh!) Haagen Dazs actually contains a large amount of cream; which makes the flavour truly creamy without pretence. The reason I first tried this products is because Asda was selling this flavour off at £1.29. Now it usually costs £2.99 so I just had to try it at that price. There was nothing wrong with it - it was still in date and the tub was fine. No idea why it was so cheap, but who cares! The ice cream is a nice, smooth light Strawberry taste. In the Ice Cream there are quite large bits of fresh Strawberries. The quantity of Strawberries in this 500ml tub is great. The Ice Cream has a well-made taste in it.
