It's that time of year again! Happy, smiling faces, Joy to the World and great tidings of comfort and joy. No, not Christmas, but the time of year when my local Safeway store has it's once in a blue moon special offer on Haagen-Dazs ice cream. Normally, this is an occasion for a family outing organised with military precision. If they eat food up in heaven then it certainly would be Haagan Daaz. And it wouldn't make you fat. After all, what other explanation could their be for such a divine food? Okay so I admit it - I am a secret HD junkie. Lets face it, for £3.69 you are not going to get much more pleasure than that. Knowing that there are none of those lovely brown and cream coloured pots in my freezer brings me out into a cold sweat.
