One version I have tried is Haagen Dazs strawberry cheesecake! This ice cream can be found in all supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda however it can also be found in cinemas, dvd stores and petrol stations as well as some newsagents. It can always be found in the freezer section alongside the other Haagen Dazs ice creams. Often this is in amongst other branded ice creams such as its rival Ben and Jerry s. ... have always thought that Haagen-Dazs is way too expensive to even consider buying, but the other day I was in Asda and they had a 500ml tub for £2 of this variety and so I had to buy it!! I first tasted the Pralines and Cream flavour when I was at my mums a few weeks ago, the ice cream is just plain vanilla with caramel swirls and caramalised pecan nuts. Its absolutely deliscious. Unlike chocolatey ice cream, this isn t too sweet, and the caramel swirls have a kind of salty (in a nice way) taste which makes the ice cream and the sweetness of the pecan nuts come out a little more, giving it short bursts rather than been sickly.
