Super Kiddies mix are actually my favourite but Star Mix come a close second because they include the fried eggs in their mix of sweets. The fried eggs are my absolute favourite sweet but I'm sometimes disappointed with the Star Mix packet as it never seems to...more

Premium Review Haribo Fried Eggs: How do you eat your eggs? (453 words)

How do you eat your eggs? Generally I liked mine scrambled but when it comes to Haribo eggs I like mine fried! Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo!! Haribo is the biggest manufacturer of jelly and gummy sweets in the world! They were founded in 1920 in Germany by a gentleman called Hans Riegel. The name Haribo was devised by using the initials of his name with the initial of Bonn, the location in Germany where they are headquartered, HRB - Haribo!! I am a big fan of Haribo sweets and love the fact that they have lots of different packets/flavours and fun sweets to eat. Examples include tangy cherries, cola bottles, ...  Read the complete review

I saw a couple of reviews for these Haribo Fried Eggs recently and it was like a blast from the past! When I was younger I used to really like these, but as my tastes changed and matured, I began to not enjoy them at all, and haven't had one for a while. I also haven't seen them around in the shops, although a quick search on the internet shows me I can buy them from various online shops such as Handy Candy, A Quarter Of, or Treasure Island Sweets. Prices start from as little as 99 pence plus postage so if you do want to try some it's not too expensive. You may also occasionally see these sweets in pic n mix sections at cinemas or other stores. Premium Review Haribo Fried Eggs: You've gotta be yolking (322 words)

A while back I bought a big 2kg box of Haribo Starmix for my boyfriend, because he loves it. After playing various childish games with friends (e.g. how many bears can you fit inside a ring), we got on to discussions about our favourite kinds of Haribo. Weirdly enough, everyone's least favourite was the Haribo Eggs, and so the reason why I have a plastic box with them in on my windowsill! The Haribo eggs are small sweets consisting of a white 'foamy' outer and a small, yellow gummy inner to create the shape of a fried egg. A weird choice of image for a sweet I think, although I guess things like Rowntree's Randoms show that people don't mind odd ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Eggcellent eggs! (296 words)

I'm not ashamed to say that I adore the haribo products and I've not come across many that fall short of my standards. These eggs are one of my favourite in the range although there seems to be a problem with stock. I don't seem to see them in many places so when I do, I usually buy a couple of bags. They cost around the same price as the other bags of Haribo which is just over a pound. The eggs look like a fried egg; the bottom is made of a white foam and the yolk is made up of a yellow jelly piece. The good thing about these eggs is the fact that they are very chunky. Some of the penny eggs that you can buy are so thin and barely a mouthful but ...  Read the complete review
