... and adults something which is recognised by the slogan they use. I usually buy the bigger bags which cost around 1.00 each because they never seem to last long enough. You can of course purchase the smaller packs individually or in fun packs. The sweets are gummy teddy bear shaped which come in a variety of different different fruit flavours including apple and lemon. They are extremely satisfying as a result of them being extremely sweet, soft but chewy deliciousness. The only problem is once you have taken a handf...more

Premium Review Haribo Goldbears: Golden Gummi Bears (464 words)

Hello. My name is Smyles and I am a Haribo Goldbears addict. There, I said it. Yes, these colourful, chewy, friendly looking and delicious bears are incredibly addictive. You have been warned. One packet contains 100g of sugary goodness, and although this may not sound like much, I find that this is definitely enough to last for at least a few days as they really are VERY VERY sweet. Even though I love them, I can't eat more than half a handful at a time. This I find great because they really kill a sugar craving when I have some but I don't feel like I've eaten a whole meal afterwards, like I would with a chocolate bar, for example. What ...  Read the complete review

Gold bears are bear shaped sweets from the master sweet maker Haribo. If you don't want to read my entire review let me give you the verdict now: they're great! Packaging Haribo Gold Bears come in a standard bag that is coloured gold, very attractive looking and it will draw kids to the pack in hoards. The gold effect really makes the bag seem special, making it the king of all sweets if you will! On the front you will see the big black font which reads Haribo Gold Bears. You also get the Haribo slogan, "kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of haribo", if you have been eating sweets for any length of time you will no doubt have heard ...  Read the complete review

My grandma, with whom I grew up, always used to say that I was a strange child. Not that there was anything wrong with me, I suspect that I was a pretty average child. What brought her to the conclusion was, that I didn't like chocolate. And not only chocolate - I generally wasn't too keen on sweets. Gherkins, mustard & vinegar moved to the high shelf in the pantry - cakes, cookies and sugars were in no danger from me and moved down. The ladies who attended my nan's weekly coffee afternoon were baffled. What to bring for a little girl as a small present in such a case ? For a long time they showed up with small jars of gherkins, until one of them had ...  Read the complete review

The other day I made the mistake of visiting Heron while I was a bit peckish! Besides all the other bits I dumped in my basket that I could have done without I also got suckered by the sweet section, in particular these Haribo Gold Bears. I love chewy fruity sweets more than I like chocolate which is no bad thing as they are virtually fat free but let's not forget they still contain oodles of sugar and therefore calories. With this in mind I opted for 1 of the 150g bags for 59p instead of taking advantage of the 2 bags for a pound offer. If I buy 2 bags I just end up eating more and while I'm not actively watching my weight if I start eating loads of these I soon ...  Read the complete review

Hello, My name is Kate and I'm addicted to Haribo** I'm addicted to it in all shapes and forms. From bears to bottles. From hearts to fried eggs. From strawberrys to sugar coated rings. I could easily polish off a packet a day and fund Haribo through this recession single handedly. Yep, I like them a lot! I'm not sure where this obsession started exactly I think it was due to living in Germany until I was 6 years old. Haribo is German so it's one of the most popular sweet brands (apart from Kinder, don't get me started on my love of their stuff!) and one of my earliest memories is of eating a gummy and foam shoe! Haribo has been around a long time. ...  Read the complete review
