Advantages: Lovely lemon/cola flavour

Disadvantages: Full of sugar, very sweet.

Haribo Happy Cola bottles are popular cola flavoured sweets made by Haribo.

The pack is plastic mainly a red colour with yellow text that reads Haribo Happy Cola and a big cola bottle being shown off by the Haribo bear, there is a window by the bear so you can get a nice view of your tasty treats!

There is quite a generous amount of jelly cola sweets in the bag, definitely enough to make you feel a bit sick if you eat them all at once! Each one of these sweets is shaped like a bottle and is half transparent and white to represent a half empty glass bottle and half is brown like a traditional cola soft drink.

The taste of these sweets is slightly of cola and I think that the transparent white tastes of lemon though other people may not think so! Though the general taste is of these flavours it is rather overpoweringly sweet and put more than a couple in your mouth at once just tastes like a mouthful of sugar. They are slightly chewy and the flavour will make you want to bite into the sweet though it can be satisfying to let it slowly disintegrate in your mouth, you certainly get more of the flavour this way.

In small quantities they are really delicious and the flavours are subtle and tasty, if you don't have any restraint you may put yourself off these sweets by gorging on the whole bag as they are exceptionally sweet and addictive to eat, a bad combination.

These sweets are of little nutritional value and are full of sugar and calories, good to give you a burst of energy as well as burst your belt! Each 150 gram bag of these sweets will provide you with nearly around 100 grams of sugar!

As an occasional treat I find these sweets are very tasty, you can pick up a bag of these for around £1 so they're not to expensive.
