Advantages: Tasty, Haribo

Disadvantages: Not as nice as a nice cold glass of Coke,

**Introduction**

Haribo are probably the biggest sweets brand with a huge range of sweets in different shapes and sizes. One of their most popular sweet is of course the Happy Cola which are the well known Cola Bottle sweets which many sweets manufacturers make. Everyone knows their catchphrase which is of course "Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo." And we do indeed, Haribo was started by German Hans Riegel in Bonn in 1920. When he died in World War II his company was left to his son, also named Hans.

**Cola Bottles**

Well it's quite simple really, these sweets are in the shape of cola bottles and are soft and chewy, the two tone colour of the cola and the look of the clear look of the glass bottle makes these sweets distinctive from other sweets on the market. So what do they taste like? well Coca Cola of course. As you bite into these you get the instant taste of the cola and even if you just lick one of the sweets you can taste the cola. This is a really tasty sweet that is up there with my favourite sweets on the market.

**Where to get them?**

Well as you would expect from a Haribo sweet. you can get these from any supermarket or newsagent chain and also anywhere that sells sweets really. At the moment they are on special offer of just 50p for a 150g packet, I don't know exactly how many of these sweets you get in the packet but it's probably around 25-30 or so. If you like these then why not go to your local Tesco and have a look for them. They are probably on offer some place else as well.

**Ingredients**

Corn Syrup, Sugar, Gelatin, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Caramel Syrup, Starch, Artificial and Natural Flavors, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Carnauba Wax, Beeswax Coating.

**Overall**

I would recommend these to anyone who likes to drink Coke, these are very tasty sweets and one of the good things about them is that they are cheaper than a lot of other sweets on the market. These sweets contain Calories: 348 Kcal Protein: 7.7g Carbohydrate: 78.9 g Fat: 0.2 g Satuarated Fat: 0.1g Fibre: 0.3g per 100g which although not exactly very healthy is about standard for these kind of sweets so I would recommend them in moderation unless you cut back quite a bit on something else for the day you eat them. I prefer to drink Coke though.
