Haribo Maoam Maomix offers up the hugely popular chewy fruit sweet in a couple of different ways with the success of the Stripes offering having been such a huge hit with kids and adults alike. Maoam itself is a simple sweet with it designed to be a well made chewy sweet with fruit flavours that are both amazing and lasting and they have always delivered this with their Maoam Stripes which I am a massive fan of but when I spotted these one day I decided to give this a try and was pleasantly surprised. The Maomix offers up stripes but also offers you small packs with miniature Maoam sweets that still manage to pack the fruit flavour but are a little thicker making ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review MOAM? MAOAM? How ever the hell you pronounce them! (442 words)

My hubby is such a big fan of these and at one point he was going through a bag a day. I found this pretty annoying. Not because he was putting on weight or that he was spending a years worth of wages on sweets, it was purely the fact that I would spend half of my life picking up the wrappers! That is the only bad poin about this particualr bag of goodies. I would not recommend you go near them if you have a messy hubby because they are addictive and you will spend the rest of your time here on earth finding wrappers on the floor, down the side of the settee and even next to the loo! Who the hell eats when they are taking a dump for petes sake?! Well we all know that my ...  Read the complete review

Yummy! Sweets that don't pull out your fillings!!! Maoam's boast their the "soft fruit flavour chew's" and they are exactly that...but in my opinion they could probably even get away with throwing the extra words tasty and moorish in the mix too. Maoams are a product of the Haribo group and were first produced in the Easter of 1931 by Edmund Munster from Germany who acquired a foreign licence in 1930/1931 to create this fruity chew brand. Within a typical Maoam Maomix you get four maoam minis, four pinballs and five maoam joystixx. ~Maoam Minis~ The maoam minis contain five separate individually wrapped sweets; each ...  Read the complete review

Tasty, yummy Not enough in the mix bags

Great selection of sweets, good price and 'fun' sweets. Calorie count is extremely high, textures aren't that different though there's a slight variation.

Lots to choose from Not so good if you absolutely hate liquorice with a passion

Jelly babies are moreish, sweet and the flavours are very pleasant High sugar treats are bad for the teeth and probably not best for moderating blood sugar
