The five flavours are Strawberry, Orange, Cherry, Rasberry and Apple all of which are very nice but beware they are quite sweet. The ingredients are sugar, glucose syrup, vegetable oil, humectant, gelatine, citric acids and flavourings. They do however promote that they have no artificial colourings. Premium Review Haribo Maoam Stripes: Haribo Sweeties (272 words)

Haribo Stripes from the Haibo range of which I am naturally a fan. These cost me just over a £1 from Sainsburys but no doubt you can get them from most Supermarkets and maybe a little cheaper. These little bundles of stripes are an absoulte joy. They are sold in one big bag (weighing in at 180 grams per bag) and then they have little striped bars that are individually wrapped inside. This is ideal for some people because they can snack on one or two without having to demolish the whole bag for fear of them going off. The five flavours are Strawberry, Orange, Cherry, Rasberry and Apple all of which are very nice but beware they are quite sweet. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tiny Wham bars. (505 words)

My hubby adores these and I have to say that I tend to help him out when he buys a bag. They cost around £1 for a bag and you can expect to get 20 sweets inside. They are all individually wrapped and are rectangular in shape. Each one is flat and reminds me of a minature Wham bar. There are various different flavours in a bag ranging from lemon to orange. The sweets themselves are very chewy but they are also soft which seems to be a hard combination to get these days. Sweets like these are often really hard to the point that they snap as you try and buy a bit off or they are far too sticky and chewy that it takes all day to chew through a tiny ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Haribo Maoam Stripes: Putting the 'ow' in Maoam (344 words)

When I was in Edinburgh recently, I was accosted by a person dressed as a giant blueberry, who insisted on shoving a packet of Maoam Stripes into my hand. Though having sweeties forced upon you isn't the most unpleasant experience ever, I have to say I was skeptical about these chews. Firstly, they are so brightly coloured that they practically glow in the dark. In my experience, this isn't usually a sign that great flavour lies within. Secondly, they are absolutely rock hard, suggesting that you probably need the jaw strength of a T-Rex to get through them. Finally, they come in a luridly coloured individual packets which have pictures of fruit surfing ...  Read the complete review

Haribo, a great company and one who's products I tend to really like. They are a german company who have been making sweets for almost 90 years now. They are very well known for their other products including Haribo Gummy Beras and Haribo Starmixoh well. I like msot of their products as they tend to be different to other brands and have a quality that you just can't get anywhere else. They come in a big red 150g bag which costs about £1.20. On the front of the bag there's a picture of some kind of green person surfing on a maoam and pictures of loads of different fruits. There's also a clear section so that you can see the sweets wrapped up inside and the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Haribo Maoam Stripes: I could eat a million (190 words)

I don't think anyone knows how to pronounce these do they? Well, they come from the Haribo family and are basically little chewy bars that are fruit flavoured, wrapped in individual wrappers. They are nice and chewy, but not too hard., They're never so hard that they crack, but they do require some chewing power, so it's probably fair to say that little kids may struggle with them. The flavours are great - really intense fruit flavours hit your palate with full force. The raspberry is my personal choice of best, but really they're all good. The apple flavour is a bit odd, and I never really thought apple was any good as a sweet ...  Read the complete review
