Advantages: tasty (most), lots, cheap!!
Disadvantages: no phone number, bad ones (few)
Introduction Well first of all, I?d like to say: I?m going away on a school trip for three days!! So I won?t be writing reviews for a while!! But I will have a good time, and will miss you all!! And that is the reason I brought these!! So I could sneak them in and eat them in the middle of the night!! And I had had them once or twice before and thought they were lovely!! Making a few exceptions!! But I don?t know why they are called Haribo Starmix, there aren?t any star shaped sweets in there (unless of course they have changed since I last had them), but the coca cola bottles are lush!! * * * * * What it is For anyone who hasn?t a clue what I?m on about then: Here you go - Haribo is a make, they make small sweets that come in big packs. The actual sweets however are fruit flavoured and sweet foam gums!! * * * * * Taste Well as I said above: They are fruit flavoured, so quite simply, they taste fruity and some taste different: Such as the coke flavoured sweet, that obviously tastes like coke!! * * * * * Packet The packets come in different shapes and sizes, for example: My friend got the same haribos as me but they were in a circular plastic tub (475g) and the packet I have is just well, a normal packet (225g)!! The main colour is blue and the writing is in mostly white and a little red. On the front it says Haribo Starmix and then there is a transparent bit next to a rocket with a big round face poking through the window on the rocket!! On the back the transparent bit carry?s on. It also has all the usual: Ingredients, nutritional information and contacts. It also says how much the packet weighs and the Best Before End date. * * * *
* Nutritional Per 100g ENERGY 1463 Kj/ 344 Kcal PROTEIN 6.6g CARBOHYDR& #65;TES 79g Of which sugars 63.4g FAT 0.2g Of which saturates 0.1g FIBRE 0.3g SODIUM Trace This product is also acceptable for gluten and cows milk FREE diets. * * * * * Contacts If you wish to write to Haribo then write to the following address: Dunhills plc. p.o box 1 Pontefract WF8 1NJ England Or you could go to the website: www.haribo.com But I am afraid that there is no phone number stated on the packet. * * * * * Conclusion Well to sum everything up these are lovely, but you can get a few bad ones, which is a downfall. And there is no phone number on the packet, so I give this product 4 stars out of 5. But there are many good things, like the good sweets (ones that taste nice)!! And there is an address on the packet and a website address, which is good. So I hope I helped!!

- 11/03/04 I live in Pontefract which, as you stated, is home to the Haribo factory. The air smells gorgeous! There's also a factory shop where I buy Haribo sweets really cheap!! |

- 10/03/04 Haribo is German as you probably know. I can only guess at the name 'Starmix', I think 'star' is used here to describe something special as in 'Soandso is a star'. I'm German so why not believe me that my interpretation is correct?! |
