I only found out about these a few days ago. They were in sainsburys and i just happed to spot them on the way in. I was in there primarily for something sweet, but had planned on getting some of their 27p cheapy chocolate. I looked at them and saw the price, then looked again because i couldnt believe my eyes, then i looked at how much they weigh, then i looked at the price per 100g. All of these figures added up and made sense. 50p for a pack of 150g, making them 33.3p per 100g. This made them just a little bit more expensive than the cheap chocolate, but i didnt care, because these are haribo and i prefer sweets to chocolate anyway. The Super Sour Monsters come ... Since I discovered these about six weeks ago they have quickly become my Haribo sweet of choice. I've stocked up a bit since they've been on offer at half price a lot (either due to being new or to the proximity of Halloween, I'm not sure). I think the fairest comparison is probably with Haribo Tangfastics. These cute little monster shapes are definitely sourer than those, which is a good thing in my opinion. Tangfastics were never particularly sour, so it's nice to have something that lives up to the description. In terms of variety though, Tangfastics probably win out.
