Advantages: Lots of sugar, chewy sweets, very tangy.
Disadvantages: Will rot your teeth eventually :(
Haribo Tangfastics are one of my favourite Haribo products. They are lots of jelly sweets in various shapes as well as foam sweets which are covered in sugar and pretty tangy (some more than others!)
The packet is just a plastic bag with a clear strip to allow you to see the sweets within and therefore be tempted by the product glistening to you from the shelves and hopefully lure you in to picking some up! The bag is a bright orange colour also so if seeing the sweets fails to get you then at least you'll be able to recognise this bag on the shelf if in a hurry. The packet has a perforated edge at the top making them easy to open but I always find that because there is a hole (for hanging up on bars in the shops) that when I tear the bag it can be a little difficult to completely separate both sides of the bag and get in to the sweets.
Once I've finally prised the bag open I am met with a few different types of sweets and I will try and explain them all a little now.
Cola Bottles: These are about 1 inch in size and are two colours brown on the bottom and clear on the top and are covered in a generous coating of sugar. I find it takes a few bites to chew through these but they're just right there isn't too much sugar to make them overwhelming.
Foam Crocodiles: I can't quite tell if these are crocodiles or lizards but there you go! But they are jelly on the top and foam on the bottom and have only really picked up a little bit of sugar in the bag. These are my least favourite but if you are looking for a sweet in the bag without too much tang or chew then I'd definitely suggest these ones.
Dummies: These are dummies which have a hole in them for putting your finger through and they are available in a few different colours (orange, red, yellow, green) and these are extremely sour. They are lovely and chewy and have a great helping of sugar all over them and these are my second favourite (only losing out to the cherries).
Cherries: These are cherry shaped sweets which have two cherries (red) and a stalk (green) these are lovely and chewy without taking so long to get through and they have a lovely tangy taste and lots of sugar on them. These are my firm favourites and also favourites of my other half so we often fight over these!
There are 340 calories and 78.3g carbohydrates per 100g so of course these are high in calories & sugar but they are sweets so I didn't expect any less! There are only 0.2g of fat though so that's some consolation of course!
I am a huge fan of these sweets and they are available in Tesco at present for £1.32 for a 225g and I think this is pretty good value for money. I love to share these with my other half and we regularly sneak a bag in to when we visit the cinema. I am rating this product 5/5 as they are absolutely fantastic, I have no bad comments to say about them at all and I always find myself picking these up first when visiting the sweet aisle in Tesco.
Summary: The cherry ones are my favourite!
