Harley's Stawberry Jelly is an absolute god send in my house sometimes as I have small nieces and nephews you love to eat everything in sight when they come to visit so I normally try to have something cheap, easy to make and relatively healthy in the house for such times. The jelly comes neatly packaged and this is quite easy to open by hand or with a pair of scissors. For 39p you get big chunks of jelly (135g) and this is easily made up with 1/2 of boiling water and then 1 point of cold water or ice cubes but I personally use just a little less cold water and then I pour this in to a jelly mould (or you can use a bowl) and put it in the fridge ... Whilst doing my food shop in Iceland the other day I spotted an offer sticker on the shelves by the Jelly, three boxes of Hartley's Strawberry Jelly for £1, so of course I bought three and couldn't wait to make a jelly and tuck in. Anythings erm 'better' than chocolate right? Hartley's Strawberry Jelly comes in a compact 135g red coloured box. You can buy other flavours such as raspberry, each flavour coming in a different coloured box. Hartley's green and white logo is proudly stamped in the corner of the box and 'New Fruitier Taste' is set in the corner. No artificial flavours it says on the box as well as natural colours. When you open the box ... Read the complete review

I love jelly and there is something so special about making it from scratch. There are many versions of jelly in the Hartley's range including ready to eat pots and low calorie versions however the most traditional and my favourite are the blocks you have to make yourself. One flavour I have tried is the strawberry! The jelly can be found in all supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Ocado etc. They can be found in the aisle alongside all other jellies and products such as angel delight. In Tesco they are often along the frozen aisle in their own little shelves. Outside the freezers of course! They come in a pack weighing 135g, and this costs only 35p. I think ... In this day of endless budgeting I am enjoying having more of my friends round for a dinner on a Sunday than going out and spending money I can ill afford on a prepared roast. However puddings can make a meal rather more expensive so this weekend I decided to go back to basics and do jelly and icecream for pudding after the roast. This costs £0.39 for 135g of jelly and I bought two of these as I was feeding 6 people including one always hungry teen along with a husband with a love of all things sweet. I chose the strawberry flavour as I was going to spruce it up a bit. A quater of the jelly when made up has 92 calories and zero fat so not a ... Read the complete review

Red jelly, strawberry jelly is often a favorite amongst children Hartley's make strawberry jelly tablets so you can make your own. I usually use a cheaper jelly than Hartley's, Hartley's jelly is 34 p for 13g Tescos own 19p for 135g. It is a while since I have had a Harleys Strawberry jelly but mum always seemed to buy Hartley's jellies in preference to others. Hartley's is a good jelly tastes really strawberry like , smells of strawberries and has a good consistency. Strawberry jelly is good used to make a trifle with or just a standard jelly I remember num making rabbit jelly moulds for my childhood teas. This jelly is delicious served ...
