On a recent shopping trip to London I found myself in the Harvey Nicholls food hall which is certainly comparable to the one that you can find in Harrods, in fact to appear posh my friend and I had decided to make one purchase from each to get the bags and she had bought something in Harrods so it was my turn in Harvey Nichols.

Certainly these cookies are not cheap as this 200g tin of biscuits cost me £3.95 which I reckon worked out at about 25 pence per cookie however the taste more than makes up for it as they were absolutely deliscious. I was disappointed to read that you did not get actual rum in the biscuits but rum flavouring instead however these were of the melt in your mouth type of biscuit and the rum flavouring was not too strong and over powering. You also had a decent number of chocolate chip ieces in the cookies, at least nine or ten per cookie.

They came in a metal tin which can then double as a biscuit or cake tin after you have eaten the cookies. They were certainly very nice although at that price wll never be a regular purchase and it did shatter the illusion of us being posh when we got on a bus instead of a limo but such is life.
