The tomato sauce that this product comes in has a tasty and appetising smell and looks a great orange colour. The beans are plump and tasty looking and there are 8 mini pork sausages in each tin. The beans are a great consistency, firm but soft and the sauce is lovely and rich. The little sausages are lovely and soft (but not at all soggy) and practically melt in your mouth. The...more

Heinz Baked Beans Pork Sausages Description: Manufacturer: Heinz / Ready Meals This product has been around for years and in my opinion, still tastes as good as it always did. A 415g tin cost me £0.87 from my local supermarket and can be found in most shops and supermarkets. It comes in a turquoise coloured tin with a darker blue label and the Heinz logo on the front. This tin has a pull off lid so no need to look for a tin opener and can be heated in a saucepan on the hob, or put into the microwave for around 2 and a half minutes (check and stir half way through cooking). Any regular readers of my reviews will know by now that I like to keep small snacks in my cupboard as I often cannot manage a full sized evening meal, and much prefer to eat a snack most of the time. Also, as I have problems with my mobility, I often need to rely on something quick and easy for my evening meal as there are a lot of times that I struggle to make myself something 'half decent'. For these reasons, I always have a well-stocked larder, in terms of tinned goods and meals, which means that I have food to fall back on should either my appetite or my mobility be having an 'off day'. I find that beans on toast and similar snacks can often ...  Read the complete review

Heinz Baked Beans Pork Sausages Description: Manufacturer: Heinz / Ready Meals / 415g These have been around for absolutely ages, they remind me of being a kid so every now and again, I have them on toast and they still taste just as good as they used to. Like the name suggests, this is a tin of Heinz baked beans with 8 little pork sausages in there too. The sausages are soft (which doesn't sound like it should be nice, but actually is!) and go really well with the beans in tomato sauce (really good tomato sauce, rich and thick) - great on toast with a sprinkle of grated cheese. All you have to do is gently warm them in a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Baked Beans With Pork Sausages. (446 words)

I purchased my Heinz baked beans with pork sausages from my local Sainsburys for 90p but these can be purchased cheaper on occasion so I usually keep my eyes peeled for special offers as I love Heinz products. The can size is standard and contains 415g of baked beans in tomato sauce with pork sausages and there is a good distribution of pork sausages and baked beans in a rich tomato sauce. This product is from Heinz who has been established since 1869. Baked beans with pork sausages are a nice meal as on toast or even as an accompaniment to a main meal. Also, these are fantastic if you go camping as the cans normally have a ring pull ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Heinz Baked Beans Pork Sausages: BEANZ (AND MEATZ) FROM HEINZ (385 words)

All I really wanted last night was a Baked Potato. I try different things on them, but my favourite is normally Cheese, Beans and a splodge of Coleslaw. Sometimes i've dumped a tin of Chicken Curry into a Baked Potato - even through my hubby says this sounds rotten - it's actually nice. So up the Baked Bean aisle I went for these, so I got the benefit of Beans, the loveliness of the Sauce to soak into the Potato and some Sausages to make things more interesting. The size of the tin was 415g and cost 98p at Asda. I used the whole tin and it was enough with my 2 Small Baked Potatoes - I could not find a decent sized one last night! The packaging was ...  Read the complete review
