I seem to know lots of people who can't stand soup, but for me it is one of the most important foods around. I often make my own chicken and lentil soup but as a treat I will buy a tin of this and some gorgeous crusty bread and indulge!

It truly is a wonderful soup. I love when it is heating up in the pan and it gets the little orangey spots and the taste is just unbeatable. It reminds me of when I was little and Mum would heat a huge pan with some sliced bread. Fantastic comfort food!

This soup is completely smooth with no lumps of tomto at all, it's colour is a very bright orange which always stains my microwave dishes, but it really doesn't matter because it's so gorgeous. At 60p a tin you really can't go wrong as it is nutritious and filling. It is equally perfect on a cold winter night to a quick dinnertime treat to a balmy summer's evening. The heinz brand is such a trusted classic because the quality of the food is so good and in my opinion it is very reasonably priced. I recently loaded up on this soup in Tesco because it was four tins for a £1 which was a fantastic offer.
