For me the Heinz Tomato soup is the only way to go, nothing else comes close and I would never dream of trying another brand, even if it would save me a few pennies. I have been eating this gorgeous stuff ever since I was a child and when I went to university it would be one of the few things I always had in my otherwise pathetic food cupboard. Now I seem to turn to Heinz Tomato soup in times of need, either when I am feeling a bit rubbish or when I am just feeling a bit down in the dumps. It is a real comfort food for me and there is something about a steaming bowl of this glorious orange stuff that makes everything feel better.

A 400g tin of Heinz Tomato soup will set you back about 82p and it is also available in a smaller mug sized tin which costs approx 60p. The strength of the Heinz brand makes it instantly recognisable on the supermarket shelves and it is pretty much available in any shop, from the large supermarkets down to the small corner shops.

The taste of the soup is spot on in my eyes, the tomato flavour is fantastic and the soup has a great creamy texture which fills you up and leaves you feeling satisfied and warmed. I love this soup with thick peices of crusty white bread and of course it would be rude not to have a good old dunk. I love the stuff and will continue to add it to my shopping for many years to come.
